Sampyung Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting traditional Korean arts and culture by supporting second-generation Korean gyopo students abroad.

To mark the launch of the Korean Calligraphy Association’s first North American branch, the foundation hosted its debut group exhibition, Line & Gesture, at E.K. Gallery in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Showcasing 100 masterworks, the exhibition highlighted Korean calligraphy as a cultural bridge to the global community.

In 2022, the foundation hosted their first major exhibition - Line & Gesture - at E.K. Gallery in Los Angeles, featuring over 100 master calligraphy works and welcoming 50 master calligraphers. The week long exhibition complemented artowrks with traditional Korean performances, including fan dancing, taekwondo, and drumming.

To date, the foundation has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to more than 30 students and continues to grow its community of over 300 active members.
