IT’S BOBA TIME

It’s Boba Time is a leading Boba and Refreshments franchise in Southern California, with over 90 active store locations.

Between 2023 and 2024, the company accelerated its growth by opening more than ten new franchise locations, including its first out-of-state expansions in Las Vegas and Arizona.

To broaden its customer base, the brand also launched its first major collaborative marketing campaigns with major entertainment companies such as HBO, Netflix, and Hulu.

SAMPYUNG SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
2021 - Current
Sampyung Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting traditional Korean arts and culture by supporting second-generation Korean gyopo students abroad.

To mark the launch of the Korean Calligraphy Association’s first North American branch, the foundation hosted its debut group exhibition, Line & Gesture, at E.K. Gallery in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Showcasing 100 masterworks, the exhibition highlighted Korean calligraphy as a cultural bridge to the global community.

6IXTHSENSE is a Los Angeles-based neighborhood lifestyle brand specializing in curated, trend-forward furniture and home décor.

In 2020, the brand underwent a rebrand to expand its customer base by launching its first online storefront and implementing targeted digital marketing strategies aimed at driving growth and reaching audiences beyond its local market.

Launched in 2021 as a subsidiary of 6IXTHSENSELA, 6XS Cafe was created to enhance the customer experience through curated beverages. 

In 2022, it began its franchise expansion and now operates three locations across Los Angeles: Koreatown, Downtown LA, and Silverlake.

The app provides personalized pairings, community-driven forums, and live-feedback golf tips to facilitate a seamless transition from the driving range to the course.

IT’S BOBA TIME
2024
The It’s Boba Time mobile app enables customers to place orders, earn loyalty points, and redeem exclusive promotions.

Developed in partnership with Incentivio—a restaurant guest engagement platform—we continuously enhance the app with updated UI features and seasonal promotions customized for select store locations. 

Through coordinated in-store and social media marketing efforts, the app surpassed 300,000 active users in 2024 and maintains a 4.9 out of 5 rating on the Apple App Store.

NYC X DESIGN WEEK 2018
Pratt Institute, 2018
Commissioned by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), this collaborative project with the Graduate Packaging Design class was featured during the 2018 NYCxDESIGN Week. 

The project explored bio-sustainability through material research on mycelium-based packaging, using innovative fabrication techniques such as 3D printing and vacuum forming to create custom two-part molds—highlighting mycelium’s potential as a sustainable alternative in packaging design.

DCH 001 - Lounge Chair
Linnaeus University, 2018
The DCH Lounge Chair draws inspiration from Scandinavian masters Hans J. Wegner and Bruno Mathsson, blending ergonomic comfort with timeless design and refined joinery.

Made from solid Quercus Robur (light Swedish oak), it complements minimalist interiors and was showcased in the Scandinavian Furniture Design program led by Professor Mats Aldén at Linnaeus University, Sweden.
